DAY 1 Arrival to Rome and transfer to hotel
Αrrival to Rome, the “Eternal City”. Rome is Italy’s capital and largest municipality, located in the
central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula. It is renowned for its rich history, architectural wonders,
and cultural significance, having served as the capital of the Roman Kingdom Empire. With a history
spanning over two and a half millennia, Rome boasts a high concentration of historical and architectural
treasures, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and Vatican City. Transfer to hotel and
free time for leisure and relax.
DAY 2 Rome city tour
After breakfast, we will enjoy a Rome city tour. Our tour of the “Eternal City” will begin with the
Colosseum, the largest surviving ancient Roman amphitheater in the world, and the Arch of Constantine
the Great. Passing through the Via delle Agora in the heart of ancient Rome, we will reach the Capitoline
Hill and Piazza Venezia with the massive monument dedicated to Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of a
united Italy, which also houses the monument to the Unknown Soldier, the famous Trevi Fountain and
finally the bustling Piazza di Spagna. Afterwards, we will be transferred to the magnificent Basilica of St.
Peter, the largest church in the world, built on the tomb of the Apostle Peter, where, among other
things, we will see Michelangelo’s Pieta and the ciborium that dominates the papal altar, a work by
Bernini. Afternoon free for leisure
DAY 3 Free day or OPTIONAL Colosseum and Vatican Combo tour
After breakfast, free day to explore Rome on your own or OPTIONAL Colosseum and Vatican Combo
tour. Discover the essence of Rome in a single day with a combo tour, seamlessly blending the rich
tapestry of ancient history and the spiritual marvels of the Vatican City.
The tour begins at the Colosseum, where a captivating 2.5 hrs tour unfolds, immersing you in the
grandeur of the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. Delve into the history, features, and
tales behind the world’s greatest amphitheater, gaining insights into the glory of ancient Rome.
Following a lunch break (Lunch is not included), our journey continues at the Vatican Area, where the
enchanting Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel await.
Step into the smallest country in the world, the Vatican City, nestled within the heart of Rome. Despite
its diminutive size, the Vatican boasts some of the most significant monuments and artworks in existence.
Within the Vatican Museums, explore the opulent Raphael’s Rooms and be captivated by the timeless
allure of the Sistine Chapel. per person
DAY 4 Free day or OPTIONAL Positano, Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Day Trip
After breakfast, free day to explore Rome on your own or OPTIONAL Positano, Amalfi Coast and
Sorrento Day Trip. Leave the bustling streets of Rome behind and set off on an unforgettable journey to
some of Italy’s most picturesque coastal destinations. Enjoy scenic views of the rolling countryside,
charming villages, and breathtaking landscapes as you make your way towards the stunning Amalfi Coast.
Our first stop is a charming location known for its delicious limoncello, a signature Italian liqueur made
from the freshest local lemons. Take a moment to soak in the serene surroundings, explore the area, and
perhaps enjoy a tasting of this refreshing drink, an essential part of the region’s culinary heritage.
From here, we continue our journey to Positano, one of the most iconic and picturesque towns on the
Amalfi Coast. With its colorful buildings cascading down steep cliffs and breathtaking coastal views,
Positano is a true Mediterranean paradise.You’ll have ample free time to explore at your own pace—
wander through its narrow, winding streets lined with artisanal shops, relax on the beautiful beach, or
find a cozy café to enjoy a traditional Italian espresso with a view.
Next, we travel to Sorrento, a lively and historic town that perfectly blends culture, tradition, and
stunning natural beauty. With two hours of free time, you can explore its charming old town, discover
hidden gems in its boutique shops, or savor the flavors of the region with a delicious local meal.
Whether you choose to visit its historical landmarks, take in the stunning sea views, or simply enjoy the
vibrant atmosphere, Sorrento is sure to leave a lasting impression. As the day comes to an end, sit back
and relax on the journey back to Rome.
DAY 5 Transfer to airport – END OF TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel and free time till your transfer to Rome airport. END OF TOUR
