Greece, the Levant, Byzantium, and Western Europe. Cyprus is a republic with a market economy, and

it’s a member of the European Union. Transfer to our hotel in Limassol, free time.

DAY 2 From Limassol: Troodos Mountain and wine villages

After breakfast, we will have a full day tour at Troodos Mountain with winery visit. Our first stop is the

picturesque village of Lania, located on the southern slopes of the Troodos Mountains. The village is

famous for it’s walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses. There will be a visit to

the Olive Mill and the Old Wine Press.

Headed to Troodos Mountain Square. It is surrounded by Pinewoods where one can wonder around the

shops selling traditional products or enjoy a coffee break before we continue to Kykkos.

Moving on along the mountain route to Kykkos Byzantine monastery which is the largest and wealthiest

monastery situated in the Troodos (biggest mountain range of Cyprus), located in the center of the island.

The monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and there you will see one of the three surviving icons

painted by the Apostle Luke. You can enjoy the museum, located within the monastery grounds, which

houses an impressive collection of icons, woodcarvings and manuscripts, and other Cypriot antiquities.

The Spectacular “Throni Panagias”, deserves the experience of a wonderful view of the beauty of nature

all around. It is the area where the tomb of the first president of Cyprus Archbishop Makarios is

located. However, in the old era the monks climbed in this area to pray for rain. The monks were

placing the icon of virgin Mary on a “wooden throne” during praying.

Enjoy Lunch at nearby traditional mountain restaurant and have time for relaxation.

After lunch there will be visit to a winery. Possibility to sample different types of local wine as well as

find out about the traditional sweet wine “Commandaria” or “Zivania” all known to be some of the best

on the Island.

Following stop will bring you to the traditional and picturesque Cypriot village called Omodos, where you

can visit Timios Stavros Monastery of the Holy Cross and the museum. Visit craft shops or stroll around.

Returning to Limassol you will pass by many hillsides, enjoying the view of the Cyprus countryside with

it’s vineyards and orchards of cherry, citrus fruit and almond trees.

DAY 3 Free day or OPTIONAL Birthplace of Aphrodite & Blue Lagoon Boat TripAfter breakfast, free day to explore Limassol on your own or OPTIONAL Birthplace of Aphrodite & Blue

Lagoon Boat Trip.

We invite you to visit one of our most popular excursions, which combines two exciting journeys: bus and

sea cruise. We will visit the most picturesque and famous corners of the island. On the road from

Limassol to Paphos is the unique birthplace of Aphrodite, one of the most picturesque places on the

coast of Cyprus. This will be our first stop. According to Greek mythology, it was here that the goddess

of love and beauty Aphrodite emerged from the sea foam.

Homer called Aphrodite Cypris, the goddess of Cyprus, which is why Cyprus is called the island of love.

The modern name of this place – Petra tou Romiou – “Roman Rock” is associated with another legend: the

legendary Byzantine warrior Digenis Akritas. Our next place to visit is also connected with the goddess

Aphrodite. This is the Akamas Botanical Garden, where the Baths of Aphrodite are located in a cozy

corner. The Baths of Aphrodite are sometimes also called the Grotto of Aphrodite. In this oasis, a small

botanical garden has been created, which can be seen while walking along the paths. The Baths of

Aphrodite are a small natural bath, into which clear water from the springs flows down the stones. The

grotto is covered with grape vines, which makes this place even more beautiful. In the port of the village

of Latchi, you will have free time for lunch in one of the local taverns, or for a walk along the coast or

buying souvenirs, and then we will board a boat that will take us to the Blue Lagoon.

The Blue Lagoon is one of the most beautiful places for swimming in Cyprus. This place got its name from

the extremely clear blue water, through which the underwater world is clearly visible. On the way to the

Blue Lagoon, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Akamas coastline, see the church of St. George and

learn its history, admire the beautiful natural sea caves of Manolis Bay. In the azure and crystal waters of

the lagoon, you can swim, snorkeling or ride a water slide, as well as relax in the shade on the deck of

the boat. At this time, the captain will offer you a pleasant gift (wine, seasonal fruits and juice). The

trip and swimming in the Blue Lagoon will leave you with pleasant memories for many years.

After the boat cruise, we begin our journey back to Limassol.
