Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrival to Barcelona and transfer to hotel
Αrrival to Barcelona,a vibrant Mediterranean city,a cosmopolitan hub, and the capital of Catalonia.
Barcelona is known for its unique blend of historical charm and modern trends, particularly its distinctive
Art Nouveau architecture, including the iconic works of Antoni Gaudí. The city is a major cultural,
economic, and financial center. Transfer to hotel, free time for relaxation.
DAY 2 Barcelona city tour
After breakfast,we will start our tour with Sagrada Familia. Still incomplete today, more than ninety
years after Gaudí’s death, this building stands as one of the single most important works of architecture
in Europe—a stunning example of Gaudí’s genius, and the enduring power of his work and vision in
Barcelona.
We will continue by looking at the history of Barcelona to see two of Gaudí’s masterpieces: the Casa Milà
(also known as La Pedrera), where we’ll explore its fantastical exterior, and the Casa Batlló, on the
Block of Discord.
After a short break for coffee (own expenses), we will head to the Gothic Quarter.
Your adventure through the enchanting cobblestoned streets will take you into El Call, the Jewish
neighborhood established in the Middle Ages. Here you’ll learn about the vacillating periods of relative
religious freedom and periods of intolerance that have marked Catalan and Spanish history.
We will wander through the El Born area, characterized by narrow medieval streets that nowadays are
home to many boutiques and cafes. Continuing past La Boqueria, Barcelona’s main market, we will
emerge onto the city’s most famous street, known as Las Ramblas, the perfect setting to discuss the
modern development of the city in the 18th and 19th centuries. Afternoon free time. We suggest you a
visit to Park Guell or a catamaran cruise.
DAY 3 Free day or OPTIONAL Half day Montserrat monastery Tour
After breakfast, free day to explore Barcelona on your own or OPTIONAL Half day Montserrat

explore Catalonia’s most famous mountain range. Take in the panoramic views of the mountain scenery
as you ride the cogwheel train and discover the history of its medieval monastery with your passionate
guides.
We will learn about the rich history of the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, an 11th-century functioning
monastery built on the mountain. Marvel at the ornate interior of the monastery with the included
tickets. Then, enjoy free time to explore on your own.
We will ride the funicular train up the side of the mountain for even better views. Return to Barcelona
