Day 1: Arrival to Almaty

Welcome to Almaty – City of a thousand colors! After clearing custom & immigration procedures followed by baggage collection, you will be met by your guide in the arrival’s hall. You will be escorted to your vehicle. Water & refreshing napkins will be served on board your vehicle.

Transfer to hotel and check-in. Rest at the hotel.

Day 2: Almaty City Tour – Kok Tobe Hill

10:00 – City Tour Discover the history and development of Almaty, the southern capital of Kazakhstan. Major attractions include:

• Republic Square and Monument of Independence

• Astana Square

• Abai Square and Palace of Republic

• Presidential Park

• Museum of Musical Instruments

Kok Tobe Hill Visit: Take a cable car ride to the 1100m high Kok Tobe hill for panoramic views of Almaty and the 372m tall TV Tower. Explore restaurants and attractions at the top.

Day 3: Issyk Lake – Turgen Waterfalls

Breakfast at hotel

09:00 – Start tour Visit Issyk Lake known for its pristine waters and stunning mountain backdrop. Explore the local museum to understand the area’s cultural heritage.

Lunch at a Trout Farm: Enjoy freshly prepared trout in a scenic natural setting.

Turgen Waterfalls: Explore cascading waterfalls and the surrounding natural beauty.

Return to Almaty.

Day 4: Huns Ethno-Village – Walking Tour

09:30 – Transfer to Huns Ethno-Village Step into a time machine surrounded by nature in Talgar Gorge. Enjoy cultural performances, equestrian games, traditional dances and lunch with local delicacies like baursak, irimshik, jent, and chak-chak.

Walking Tour: Visit Alma-Ata metro, Panfilov Promenade, Kazakh Opera & Ballet Theatre, Arbat Street and enjoy live music, art, shopping and diverse cuisines.

Day 5: Charyn Canyon – Kolsai Lakes (11-12 hours)

Explore the stunning Charyn Canyon through the Sogetinskaya Valley. See the Lunar Canyon and its clay formations.

Lunch included

Continue to Kolsai Lakes with alpine lake views, lush forests, and peaceful trails. Return to Almaty in the evening.

Day 6: Medeo Skating Rink – Shymbulak Ski Resort – Shopping Tour

10:00 – Visit Medeo Skating Rink Enjoy clean air and scenic views at this legendary high-mountain ice rink.

Cable car to Shymbulak Ski Resort and Big Talgar Pass for stunning mountain views.
