Itinerary
Day 1: PODGORICA- SKADAR LAKE -PODGORICA
Arrival in Podgorica. Meeting with your local representative and start your Skadar Lake adventure,
the largest freshwater lake on the Balkan. Skadar Lake is shared between two countries Albania and
Montenegro and is an important historical and natural monument for Montenegrin. It has been a
National Park since 1983 and was added, in 1996, to the World`s List of Wetlands of International
Importance. Your driver will lead you on breathtaking experience during 45 minutes boat trip. The
view of the numerous little islands with medieval monasteries and rare bird species is unique bond of
history and nature. The fisherman’s villages with an authentic architecture, the beaches, coves and
the opulent vegetation, carp and as local specialties, crmničko wine and loza brandy – all make the
magnificence of the region complete. Drive back to Pdogoricaand take a short orientation City tour.
Starting from the center you will see old bridges from Roman empire, old Turkish part of the town
and Clock Tower, winter palace of Montenegro’s last king and the magnificent Orthodox Cathedral of
the Resurrection of the Christ. Hotel check in, overnight and stay in Podgorica.
Day 2: PODGORICA- MONASTERY OSTROG – ZABLJAK
After breakfast we start for the Ostrog Monastery. The 17th-century Serbian Orthodox monastery is
carved into a mountain cliff 2,953 feet (900 m) above the Zeta Valley, and is dedicated to Saint Vasil
of Ostrog, who is buried there. Next stop is in Djurdjevica Tara. Built between 1937 and 1940 Tara
Bridge, represent one of the most visited attraction in Montenegro. 172 meters above the Tara River,
this bridge at the time he finished, was the biggest vehicular concrete arch bridge in Europe and a
world famous rafting center. Proceed to Zabljak. Overnight in Zabljak.

Day 3: ZABLJAK – BLACK LAKE – KOLASIN
Breakfast and check out from hotel. Tour at Black Lake in Durmitor National Park. You will
experience the beauty and uniqueness of the nature. Black Lake is the most known, largest of 18
glacial lakes in The Durmitor National Park. This lake consists of two smaller lakes: Big and Little
Lake. After this tour we proceed to Kolasin. Upon arrival take your time for the dinner in local
restaurant and short walk of the city at leisure. Overnight in Kolasin.
Day 4: KOLASIN – BUDVA/TIVAT
Breakfast and today we enjoy more nature. Surrounded by the magnificent virgin forest, located in
the heart of the national park, Biograd ska gora, one of the must visit places in Montenegro. 1094 m
above the sea this is the largest glacier lake in the Biogradska Gora National Park, Lake Biograd
attracts attention because of its beauty and uniqueness. After this adventure we proceed to South
Montenegro, the most beautiful part in Adriatic coast, Boka Bay. We will pass Cetinje, the old capital
of Montenegro. We will see Cetinje Monastery, where relics of Saint Petar of Cetinje are kept. Only 5
km from Cetinje, lays the biggest Montenegrin cave which we will visit, <<Lipa cave>>. Its a karst
cave situated in the Skopska Crna Gora mountains of Montenegro, with a system of about 2.5
kilometers of passages and halls. Departure for Budva, dinner. Overnight in Budva or Tivat.
Day 5: BUDVA – BOKA BAY TOUR – End of Tour
After breakfast we will proceed to Kotor Old town city tour. Kotor is city under UNESCO heritage.
Walk between old stone houses through small streets, and visit St. Triphon church and Church St
Nikola. Get up at the walls of the old town and take a deserved prize in the form of the most
beautiful view of the Kotor Bay. Then continue to another UNESCO protected city the town of Perast.
The little baroque town of Perast, the pearl of Kotor Bay, is situated 20 minutes from Kotor. What
makes this place unique are two jewel-like islands – one natural (St. George) and one man-made
(the Lady of the Rocks). We’ll enjoy a short walk along the waterfront, allowing time for taking
photos during our visit. Take boat ride to artificial island Lady of the Rock (time permitting). Back
from the other side of the bay passing Tivat and Porto Montenegro where we have stop for photo
shooting. Transfer to the airport for flight back with all the great memories in your luggage.
